This was my first visit to the HITEC Star Hall in “inconvenient” Kowloon Bay. Although my first impressions of the venue were not favourable, the sound was pretty good (better than at Asia World Expo), and I would go back there.

The atmosphere (what there was) was lost on the balcony - the audiences' part of A Design For Life was inaudible. The recording is pretty good, and the sound settles down after Autumnsong, after I moved to neutralise the chatty Chinese girls next to me...one had brought a tambourine!

Manics' first visit to HK...I wonder if they'll return.

詩格洛絲這隊凡間最害羞與不被理解的音樂組合遊歷過世界以後，在2006年終於回到家鄉，為冰島的夏日配上天堂的樂聲，任行行音符浮動於綠野叢林、漆黑洞穴、空置的魚市埸、甚至是傳說中被神秘靈馬踏躍過的 Sleipnir 峽谷中

一年裡，四位天使漫遊島內十五個角落，一系列大大小小的演唱會由全冰島班底拍攝及記錄在Heima（意指：故鄉）當中。電影猶如詩格洛絲的第五張唱片，展示的是樂隊對家鄉的愛，記載的是他們過去四張大碟精選的現場演繹

LOFI: Manics Live @ Hong Kong - 26 Nov 2008

今年看過幾場gig，今晚 Manics 演出的水準，算是無話可說了，個set 好緊湊，喜歡James說多一點，他也不介意自嘲一下，講下Know Your Enermy 不太受歡迎。

現在沒有老氣橫秋的 Manics，實在有點看化世情的人情味，有點可愛，邊個話band 一定要勁 cool唔出聲？

Setlist的選曲完全是 100% expected，跟Singapore 的有 90% 相同，如果我的 memory served well，只是沒有了 The Everlasting 的 Acoustic 版罷。

全 gig 玩了不少成名舊歌，如 A design for life、Motercycle、If you tolerate，首首金曲都聽左咁多年，大家都很容易投入。與DB 研究過，Manic 的歌詞長而複雜(咁富有文學性，可以用於 A-level 的 UE 呵！)，沒有Suede 的啦啦啦，好難記，我記得歌詞可以大合唱的，委實不多。
